Permaculture is also called farming for lazy farmers and lazy villagers
Okay, our ThinkDoTank Abundanism.com Senses & Sciences has started a formal paid newsletter. Desiree is the writer. Mike is in the background. Our newsletter will be full of already implemented nature-based solutions.
We want people to copy polyculture solutions in their climate zone.
We already told you, there are only 3 climate zones in the world to make it simple.
Temperate climate (4 seasons)
Arid climate (drought, coast, islands, wind, salty seas closeby)
Tropical climate (2 seasons)
Mike and I (Desiree) only have two aims. Health & Peace. We are ecology-economists. And we use ecology, psychology, biology of mind, and more communication for faster implementation. We give recipes.
We are permaculturists and love village life with loads of privacy, community, and inclusivity. In 2023, we started the Facebook Group Peloponnese Living which is now recognized as a virtual Greek city. 65,000 inhabitants.
Mike and I are deep generalists of Sense & Sciences. We know enough about holistic sciences to see the problems and the interconnections of solutions. Since 2012, we design with those interconnections better solutions than we have right now as humanity.
There are always 1000+ interconnected solutions for health and peace.
It’s not difficult. It’s just a matter of identifying the problem. Microplastics. PFAS. Stinking fish farming. Energy poverty. Volunteering. Time & Timing. You can use modern material science with abundant local materials.
Everything is about local. 3 climate zones but also many microclimates.
So, without local, you never get any good solutions distributed. Our aim with huge groups of people in the world of permaculture and regenerative solutions is to solve all Global Goals by 2033.
We are rewilding soils, seas, and souls. Biology. Cosmology. Abundant materials.
And since I also was part of systems designs, I use AI and AR, and I write about radical solutions such as using helium to douse wildfires.
Designing fire breaks in the landscapes would also be a solution of course. But it’s always one or the other. Prevention. Or clever solutions that solve a world problem such as scarcity of freshwater.
Economically, Abundanism means that an area becomes self-sufficient for basic needs. That’s good for the stability of its currency too.
It also means a STOP & GO area redesign policy. Stop emissions and water/air pollution. Use all by-products in production processes.
Design emission-free processes.
It’s just not logical to clean up the pollution when the tap is still running. But when the pollution-tap has been closed in an area, we can clean up the mess with microbes, plants, and fungi (they transform) and start clean business activity in line with local job needs.
Sometimes, we can also use the pollution in harvesting manners. If we have polluted soils, it means scarce heavy metals are in the soil. We can phytomine them out with plants and grow the economy with the metals.
For minerals, we can do the same thing.
We can also clean water this way. Phytomining with algae (IN water), cress (ON water), plants (ON soil) or fungi (IN soil) is a well-known science now.
Easily applicable in real life.
The easy bit of doing this professionally is that you take your personal talents and your assets (house, land, other) and start walking with an approximate idea of where you want to end up.
It’s a matter of finding a job, creating your job, or be a constructive solution-based whistle-blower.
It helps to find your purpose. It will get you out of bed every day and start the day with a little dance to clear the cobwebs out.
The easy bit is also to find a tribe. Village life. Peloponnese in Greece has it all for us. We can give our retreats here, we can educate, and we can enjoy village life ourselves. And all our students go home full of ideas of what to implement next.
Peloponnese has the interconnections between Greek, friendly people, expats, and impressively calm non-lethal nature. Nothing to be afraid of.
A safe, brave training space. Full of nature, culture, and Greek philosophy.
Peloponnese is where we work. This is where I write. This is where you are welcome to do too. Mike and I have implemented many good solutions in our lifetime. Now it’s your turn. We just write recipes and designs for others now. Not because we don’t DO. But because we HAVE DONE and are a bit old now.
Time to write our legacy.
And time to attract pilot projects to Greece. So, if you have good solutions come implement and I will take it with me in my PR campaigns for health and peace.Or if you want to finance biorock and permaculture here in Greece, you are our ideal financer. We can attract the big-scale teams. You finance and learn.
Our Greek plan is simple:
STOP the stinking polluting fish farms
GO with overspill effect in the sea - biorock, seament, seacrete - cooling the sea, good for pH value, creating shelter and breeding spaces for sea life. It can easily be an alternative for smooth cement in harbors and for sea statues. The economy grows with diving tourism and Greek, small-scale fishermen who feed the slow food culture of this beautiful country. Special about biorock is that it automatically deposits limestone from seawater. With a low-voltage DC current.
GO with permaculture on land. Soil health in the olive, fruit, and nut groves is normal permaculture. You build up topsoil with nitrogen-fixers, hold water in the soil with terra preta or bokashi, so the the trees can safely build up their immune systems. Minimum irrigation needed. Sometimes you can even stop irrigation. Even though the summers are hot and dry.
GO beyond permaculture. With James Godfrey Fausset we have found some new permaculture aspects that are very interesting to pilot big scale. Seed to Forest is one of them. It’s easy and cheap. And microdosing for UV shields is another. Apparently, they spray big areas of grape farming and wine-making in Mexico with it. So, we are now preparing a course in Corinth in March.
What About Soil & People Health?
What IS permaculture? Well, it is rather simple.
